Today was job shadow. I started off by signing in mentors for the orientation. As they filed through the door, I checked off their names and prepared for the students. As the students started coming in I checked attendance, directed them to their seats and the presentation began. An opening speaker showed the students a powerpoint, video and told them what to expect I sat behind the scenes and matched names. I chose 3 students for every mentor and once the presentation was finished the students were on their way. I followed around someone from the foundation witnessing the Job Shadow event with the students, seeing TelePresence and AT&T's version of the SmartBoard. I then hand wrote certificates, listened to the closing certificates, and cleaned up.
